“So close, yet so far!” Do you know this feeling? The Netherlands share close economic ties with Germany. Geographically, Netherlands and Germany are neighbors, but beneath this proximity lies a world of differences. This training is aimed at employees who already work with colleagues and partners in the Netherlands or who want to establish successful working relations. It provides participants with comprehensive insights into the cultural, political, historical, and economic aspects of this country.  

The training uncovers the often-overlooked cultural distinctions between German and Dutch cultures and discover how to effectively bridge these gaps. Participants learn to understand seemingly typical Dutch cultural contexts. They reflect their own cultural contexts to understand it’s impact on work- and communication styles and learn to understand expectations of their Dutch colleagues and partners with regard to communication, decision making, time management, information flow, leadership, conflict management and other aspects of cooperation.
